Presidential Rally: Agbaso Hails Imolites’ Solidarity For Peter Obi

…Says: Better Nigeria coming  with Labour Party 

Impressed with the huge success and massive turnout of Imo people during Tuesday’s official flag off Peter Obi’s presidential rally for 2023, the State coordinator of Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, Chief Martin Agbaso, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the citizens and residents of Imo State over what he described as unprecedented show of solidarity  and support.

In a  post-event chat with Media executives in Imo state Thursday on , Chief Agbaso said the people of Imo State made Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Ahmed- Datti  proud during their rally on Tuesday,December,6.

The PCC State Co-Ordinator  expressed optimism that Nigeria would transit from a consumption-oriented economy to one that is production and export-based.

He said: “I am grateful for the show of solidarity and overwhelming support given to the Labour Party on Tuesday,December 6, to appreciate Peter Obi’s campaign.

“The turnout was  quite heart warming . As chairman of Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, we will work to ensure free and fair election.”

He said Obi would herald peace and mark  the beginning of a new development that would put the people first and ensure security in the Country.

Chief Agbaso called on all Imolites on particular and Nigerians in general  to remain peaceful and resolute, adding that the Obi-Datti movement  would restore the resilience for which Nigeria is known.

He further expressed belief in the capacity of Obi to industrialize the country, end incessant strike actions in the educational sector, halt the present brain drain and restore peace and dignity as well as usher in a production-based economy.

While calling on all “Obi-dients” to remain resolute, Agbaso charged all Imo people to sustain the current momentum by  voting massively for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Obi and his running mate, Ahmed-Datti during the election proper in February next year.
